Once upon a time, a 14 month-old little girl was abandoned on a sidewalk in Seoul.

A kind passer-by took her to a nearby hospital to be cared for, and she was soon placed into foster care. Five months later, she was adopted by a couple living in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.  Blessed by this new life and more opportunity than her birth mother could have ever offered her, that little girl grew up with a heart ready to serve, love, share and teach.

That little girl was me.
